Wine produced under the sole and exclusive province of Benevento, then the area of the Sannio from where it takes its name.
Colorre ruby, vinous and intense. Taste catch though sometimes very lively. Produced from Sangiovese half, while for the other half of local grapes. The minimum alcohol content is 11 degrees. The service temperature between 16 and 18 degrees. It goes well with any type of meal.
