CERASUOLO DI VITTORIA DOCG - VITTORIA - ITALY
This wine is produced mainly in the municipalities of Victoria and then Comiso, Caltanissetta,
Caltagirone, Gela, practically all over the eastern side of Sicily, especially in the inland provinces of Ragusa and Nyssa.
The color is cherry red tending to purple. Scent of a bouquet of flowers and very fruity. The flavor is dry and full.
The minimum alcohol content is rather high since it is around 13% volume. The grapes used for the production are primarily Nero d'Avola with the addition of Frappato.
The service temperature should be around 18/20 degrees.
Being of a rather high alcohol content goes well with goat, lamb, game and red meat in general.
