ZAGAROLO - ROMA - (LAZIO)
The denomination of origin 'Zagarolo' is reserved for wine bianco.Il wine "Zagarolo" must be made from grapes coming from vines of grape varieties present in the vineyards, as indicated next to each of them:
Malvasia (white and dotted Candia) up to a maximum of 70%;Trebbiano (Tuscan, green and yellow) in not less than 30%.
They can be used to produce this wine also white grapes from vineyards planted the vines Bellone and Bombino, present in the vineyards up to a maximum of 10% of the total existing screws.
The area of production of wine "Zagarolo" includes the entire territory of the municipality of Gallicano and part of one of Zagarolo.
The minimum alcohol content permitted is 11.5 degrees. Excellent with shellfish, white meats and vegetables.
