The Interested area to produce this wine start from Salins at the North until to Saint-Armour at the south.
The grapes mainly used are "pinot blanc" and "savagnin." The greatest exponent of this area is absolutely the wine Château-Chalon. It has a very amber color and it is for this reason that it is commonly called "yellow wine". Its peculiarity is in the process, because two years after the normal harvest, is put into barrels with some of the grapes must of wine yellow already present and is left to mature for about 6 years without ever coming not even touched. The flavor is delicate and fruity flavor.
