The Aruncus Dioicus grows and expands mainly in wetlands in the world and is widespread in Europe, Aisa and in some areas of North America.
It is used in pharmacy as a remedy for fever and as a tonic, astringent and expectorant.
In the kitchen is used mainly as first (for asparagus for example) and in main dishes like omelette. Their flavor is quite bitter but aromatic.

Pianta erbacea perenne, può arrivare sino all' altezza di 2 metri. Il rizoma è legnoso. Fusto eretto. I fiori sono costituiti da "pannocchie" di piccoli fiori bianchi e grandi foglie di forma triangolare.
I fiori, di colore bianco crema, sono riunite insieme in un grande gruppo.
L'Aruncus Dioicus cresce e si espande prevalentemente in zone umide e nel mondo è molto diffusa Europa, Aisa ed in alcune zone dell'America Settentrionale.
Viene usata in farmacia come rimedio alla febbre e come tonico, astringente ed espettorante.
In cucina trova impiego principalmente come primi (in sostituzione degli asparagi ad esempio) e nei secondi piatti come frittata. Il loro sapore è abbastanza amaro ma aromatico.
ATTENZIONE: durante il periodo estivo non è PIù commestibile in quanto secerne sostanze tossiche.!!
Il periodo di fioritura intercorre tra i mesi di giugno e luglio.
